What we collect
- Booking details: passenger titles and names, route, dates and options - needed to create the reservation.
- Contact details: your email address, and optionally your name and phone number - to deliver the reservation and contact you about it.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation of payment and limited card details (such as the card brand and last four digits), never the full card number.
- Support messages you send us.
- Technical data: a random session identifier, pages viewed and booking steps completed, device type and country. IP addresses are only stored in hashed form, for security and rate limiting.
- Campaign data (such as the ad or link you arrived from), if you accept marketing cookies or arrive via a tagged link.
Why we use it
- To create, deliver, correct and support your reservation (performance of our contract with you).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
- To understand and improve how the site performs (legitimate interests; aggregated where possible).
- To remind you about an unfinished booking you started, and - only if you opted in - to send occasional offers (legitimate interests / consent; you can opt out at any time).
- To meet accounting and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Reservation suppliers and airlines, who need passenger names and itinerary details to hold the booking.
- Service providers who run parts of our service for us: hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing and customer support tools, under contracts that protect your data.
- Authorities, only where required by law.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Unfinished bookings are deleted automatically after 60 days. Completed orders are kept as long as needed for support, chargebacks and accounting obligations (typically up to 6 years), then deleted or anonymised. Analytics events are kept for up to 13 months.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential storage to run checkout and remember access to your orders. With your consent, we also use analytics and advertising cookies (for example Google or Meta tags). You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Write to info@getonwardnow.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
